My Abstract Surrealism

     To see this recurring dream is to experience yourself constantly moving
through a vast field of interrelated movements of energy.  A dream of
other dreams.  All unified as one over and above the differences and
obstacles. We are all under the influence of two immense fields of energy.
Below us is the constant power of the earth. The square, and often the
rectangle, are the symbols of earthbound matter, of the body, structure
and reality.  Above us, and extending through the immeasurable vastness
of space, is the energy of the cosmos, the psyche and our ideals
represented by the spiral circle or sphere. Understanding the relationship
and influence of these energies and their impact on the lives of individuals
is the basis of my work. These forms occasionally appear as if they were
germs of new growth.
